Now we are looking for a:

Principal Engineer - High-Speed Test Instrument Hardware Development Engineer

Your mission

• Responsible for the developing next generation microwave photonics hardware for test and measurement instruments of 224G high-speed data communication hardware.

• Circuit design, simulation, and debugging of low phase noise oscillators, frequency sources, synthesizers, RF/microwave building blocks (amplifiers, detectors, mixers, couplers, filters, up/down conversion), integrated microwave assemblies, and subsystems.

• Design, analyze and optimize the test systems and integration with analog front-end.

• Participate in the selection and evaluation of key components, and complete schematic and PCB design.

• Prepare relevant technical documentation, including design proposals and test reports.

• Perform lab measurement, debugging, characterization and optimization for the RF modules and the complete microwave system for 224G high-speed data communication hardware. Analyze the simulation and measurement result, optimize the system.

• Track the latest industry trends and participate in new technology research and development.

Requirements

• Master's degree or above in Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering or relatedfields, with at least 8+ years of relevant work experience.

• Proficient in low phase noise oscillators, frequency sources, and synthesizers.

• Solid understanding of laser, opto-electro modulator, PD, EDFA and TIA.

• Lab experience with RF and optical instruments such as VNA, signal generator, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, RF/optical power meter. Familiar with measurement of P1dB, IP3, harmonics, insertion loss, SFDR, phase noise, noise figure, EVM, jitter and etc.

• Experience with RF/Microwave components, blocks, subsystems, or systems.

• Proficient in usingEM simulation tools.

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills, responsible and detail-oriented, with strong learning and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred

• Prior experience in RFtest instrument developing is preferred.

• Experience on optical communication systems, microwave photonic measurement applications and advanced electronic instrumentation development.

• Experience in Uncertainty Analysis and Evaluation of RF Measurement and digital signal processing algorithm
