We’re looking for a problem solver who can use theirskills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses ofweapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of futureweapon and platform concepts for DoD clients, and we alsodevelop the detailed models and simulations required. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, with a solid background in signal processing todevelop radar and antenna models. You’ll also perform modeling tasks, including radar signal processing codedevelopment and thedevelopment and refinement ofweapon models in Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink. You’ll directly impact the Air Force’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures to improve survivability and vulnerability againstforeign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems.

You Have:

• 2+ years ofexperience with coding in one or more of the following: MATLAB, C++, or Fortran
• 2+ years ofexperience working with computational electromagneticsoftware such as FEKO
• Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and track filters
• Ability to work in a dynamic team environment
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with engineering and mathematics
• Experience with modeling and simulation
• Experience with Linux
• Knowledge of U.S. andforeign combatweapon systems, including airborne and ground-based air defense systems
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communicationskills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science
