Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

Pay Range:

$33.05 - $49.60

Major Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain enterprise-wide record retention policies and procedures in alignment with federal, state, and organizational standards. 

 

Interpret and apply regulatory requirements to organizational practices, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. 

 

Serve as a subject matter expert, advising leadership and departments on retention strategies, compliance issues, and operational improvements. 

 

Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Data Governance teams to establish and enforce retention schedules and destruction protocols. 

 

Lead initiatives to improve record management processes, including technology enhancements and vendor oversight. 

Exercise independent judgment in determining retention timelines, destruction schedules, and compliance strategies. 

 

Monitor and audit retention practices to ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory standards. 

 

Provide training and guidance to staff on record retention policies and compliance requirements. 

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:

None Required.

Education Required:

Associate’s degree required or equivalent experience

Experience Required:

Minimum of 4 years in Health Information Management, compliance, or related regulatory roles. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and regulatory requirements for health information management. 

Ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to organizational policies. 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment. 

Excellent communication and presentation skills influence stakeholders and leadership. 

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Normal office environment with extended computer use. 
 

Occasional travel for compliance audits and vendor oversight.
