Education & Training Supervisor
Location:Delaware Valley Job Corps Center, Callicoon, NY$65,000 per year • Full-time role
Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm / Saturday & Sunday off
Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We operate with student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve.Â
As theEducation & Training Supervisor, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of the Academics and Career Technical Training functions. You will provide leadership to ensure students receive quality academic and career technical training, make satisfactory progress, earn industry-recognized credentials, and successfully complete the Job Corps program prepared for full-time employment, higher education, or advanced training.

RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead the Education & Training Department, supervising Academic and Career Technical Training staff and ensuring effective day-to-day operations.
- Oversee academic and Career Technical Training programs to ensure high-quality instruction, student progress, completion, and preparation for employment, higher education, or advanced training.
- Manage staff performance and development, including hiring, training, coaching, evaluations, delegation, accountability, and disciplinary action as needed.
- Monitor student progress and services, providing appropriate support and ensuring students receive effective supervision, case management, and opportunities to meet their goals.
- Ensure compliance and data integrity by maintaining accurate student records, protecting confidential information, following PRH/DOL requirements, and supporting Center performance goals.
- Promote a safe, organized learning environment across classrooms and Career Technical Training areas.
- Build community and workforce partnerships that support education, employment, Career Technical Training, and Work-Based Learning opportunities.
- Collaborate across departments and with Center leadership to address challenges, improve programs and services, and support overall student success.
- Represent the Center professionally with community partners, employers, education providers, elected officials, DOL, and Company leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Career & Technical Education, Business Administration, Management, or a related fieldrequired.
- Minimum oftwo years of related experience, including experience in education, career technical training, instructional supervision, program management, or a related fieldrequired.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in an educational, vocational, workforce development, or training environment preferred.
- Experience supervising, coaching, or evaluating instructional staff preferred.
- Knowledge of academic and career technical training principles, curriculum development, student assessment, and instructional practices.
- Experience working with young adults from diverse backgrounds and supporting student achievement, retention, and program completion.
- Ability to monitor program performance, analyze student and program data, and implement corrective or improvement strategies.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple programs, priorities, deadlines, and staff responsibilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, management, employers, and community partners.
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries and promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment.
- Must meet all company and center employment requirements.
