- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Hadoop, Cloudera, and Kafka platform components.
- Monitor cluster health, HDFS storage, YARN resources, queues, broker availability, topic partitions, replication, throughput, latency, and overall platform performance.
- Manage HDFS capacity, YARN configurations, Kafka topics, consumer groups, retention policies, access controls, and service configurations.
- Perform platform patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and planned maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, connectivity, availability, performance, broker, replication, and service-related issues.
- Implement and maintain security controls including Kerberos, Ranger, LDAP, TLS, authentication, authorization, encryption, and auditing.
- Support high availability, backup, recovery, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and platform resilience activities.
- Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams for production support and issue resolution.
- Maintain platform standards, operational runbooks, monitoring procedures, and technical documentation.
- Participate in incident, problem, change, release, and on-call support processes.
