TheAdvance Practice Nurse is a registered nurse who provides a primary level of care in collaboration with physicians and other members of the health care team provides care to a specific patient population. Maintains an advanced knowledge base and skill in health promotion and maintenance, disease prevention, physical/psychosocial assessment, and management of health and illness in the care of individuals.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Master of Science in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing
Maintain current licensed as a registered professional nurse in Missouri Graduation and certification for Nurse Practitioner program; must maintain active certification
Certification in specialty as approved by the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Advanced Practice may be required.
Holds current Collaborative Practice Arrangement with the organization as a provider
Current BCLS verification
Demonstrates clinical expertise in area of specialty practice
Demonstrates leadership ability
3-5 years clinical experience
