Job Description

Works under the delegation of the Systems Director of Laboratory Operations to oversee, coordinate, administration all aspects of the ongoing Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) program within the laboratory; including developing, planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling the program’s activities and accreditation.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory/medical technology scienceand completion of an AMA approved laboratory training programand MT(ASCP) (or equivalent) certification, and

• Previously qualified or could qualify as a general supervisor prior to 2/29/92 under 42 CFR 493.1427 (3/14/90)

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in computer hardware and software use

• Ability to work in a fast paced

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related health care administration or equivalent

• Previous teaching experience
