Summary
As an EDI Integrations Team Lead, you manage the systems that exchange data within a company and between the company and other entities. Your duties include documenting and assessing current EDI/Integrations setup. Engaging with customers and suppliers to get them onboarded with any third-party vendors. You will be the point of contact for suppliers and customer to help with the CES relationship as well as helping support the existing EDI model in place. Play an active role in the migration of in-house managed EDI integrations to a centralized, third- party platform. You will be an integral part of implementations between any customers/suppliers who would like to get EDI setup. You then implement the plan, test the systems, and adjust if necessary. In this role, you will be meeting with clients to understand their data interchange needs, designing appropriate EDI systems, and training them on the use of the system. You may also be required to periodically update and maintain the system.
Essential Job Functions
- Document and assess the current EDI and integrations setup.
- Implement, test, and adjust EDI integrations between CES and its customers and suppliers.
- Meet with customers and suppliers to understand their data interchange needs and design the right EDI solution.
- Onboard customers and suppliers with third party vendors.
- Serve as the point of contact for customers and suppliers to support the CES relationship.
- Support and maintain the existing EDI model, including periodic system updates.
- Play an active role in migrating in-house managed EDI integrations to a centralized, third party platform.
- Train customers and suppliers on how to use the EDI system.
- Model business processes and identify valuable improvements.
- Lead and guide the EDI team, and manage and prioritize your own workload.
- Work collaboratively with IT project teams across project lifecycles to deliver as a team.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- 1 to 3 years of EDI experience in a related field.
- Experience implementing, maintaining, and overseeing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services.
- Experience documenting EDI solutions, preparing and maintaining test data, and performing tests on information exchanges.
- EDI and SFTP experience (EDI FTP over VPN, SFTP, and FTPS).
- Experience and knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions.
- Experience moving data between various platforms.
- Working knowledge of API and bespoke integration solutions.
- Knowledge of commercial procurement procedures.
- Experience working in a B2B or B2C business.
- Knowledge of JIRA Software and Confluence.
- People management or leadership experience.
- IMS experience a plus.
