EDI EDIFECS Application Developer – Urgent Hiring

We are hiring an experiencedEDI EDIFECS Application Developer for a3–6 month Contract-to-Hire (CTH) opportunity with a confidential client.

📍Locations: Chicago, IL or Lafayette, LA

💰Pay Rate: $60–$65/hr CTC, potentially higher for a strong candidate

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
• Write clean, secure, efficient, and modular code
• Improve existing applications and maintain strong unit test coverage
• Identify and resolve application bottlenecks
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, Scrum Masters, Software Engineers, and external teams
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Mentor junior engineers

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in database schema design, optimization, and scalability
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Teradata, and MongoDB
• Strong EDI application development experience
• Experience withEDIFECS v9.1, BizTalk 2016, and SSIS
• Knowledge of X12N transactions, HL7 messages, and FHIR
• Experience with WCF, Web Services, Java, C#, .NET, SQL, and SSIS
• Experience with API Apps and API Management Portal
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2012/2014/2016
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile environments

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS experience withLambda, S3, and DynamoDB
• Scrum / SAFe Agile experience
• Jenkins experience
