Swift QA Engineer - Hands-on & Automation

We’re looking for aSwift QA Engineer with a strong mix ofhands-on testing and automation skills.
In this role, you’ll work acrossiPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, ensuring that every feature meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and user experience.
You’ll combinemanual functional testing withSwift-based automation using Apple’s frameworks such asXCTest andXCUI, while collaborating closely with development and design teams.

What you’ll do

Perform dailyfunctional and regression testing on iOS, macOS, watchOS, and related platforms.

Design, document, and executetest cases, plans, and strategies.

Identify, reproduce, and reportbugs and usability issues with clarity and precision.

Automate manual test cases usingSwift-based frameworks (XCTest / XCUI).

Track test coverage, analyze results, and communicate quality metrics effectively.

Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine features and improve user experience.

Maintain high attention to detail and contribute to thevisual and functional polish of Apple-class experiences.

What we’re looking for

Strong knowledge ofSwift programming.

Experience (or strong interest) intest automation using XCTest/XCUI.

Background inmanual QA testing and structured test methodologies.

Familiarity withUnix/shell scripting andPython for test workflows.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

Experience withhardware-related or device-level testing.

Knowledge ofObjective-C,SwiftUI, or Apple development tools.

Familiarity withautomation pipelines, test dashboards, or reporting systems.

Education & Experience

BSc or MSc in Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).

3+ years of experience in QA or software testing, ideally within Apple’s ecosystem or other complex software environments.
