
Nuclear Product Manager Americas
Flowserve is seeking an experiencedProduct Leader, Nuclear (Americas) to lead and driveproduct management for our primary pump and mechanical seal portfolio across the nuclear power sector. Nuclear power generation is Flowserve’s top strategic growth initiative, with a rapidly expanding project pipeline spanning new builds, advanced generation initiatives, and utility plant life-extension programs.Â
Reporting directly to the Specialty & Power Product Line Leader and collaborating with our Global Nuclear Leadership, you will own theproduct roadmap, pricing strategy, margin expansion, and market positioning across North and South America. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role responsible for navigating complex nuclear regulatory environments (ASME Section III, 10 CFR 50, NQA-1) while driving high-margin aftermarket and engineered replacement growth.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
Strategic Roadmap & Financial Targets: Develop and execute 1-, 3-, and 5-year product roadmaps for primary nuclear pumps, seals, and aftermarketparts, units andservices, establishing aggressive targets for revenue growth, gross margins, and market share and ensuringthat initiatives to reach those targets are executed within the organizationÂ
U.S. Controlled Technology & Program Ownership: Act as the designated Americas leader managing proprietary andcontrolled-technology equipment,being the CEO of those products and ensuring technology isprotected,andproduct  is alwaysmaintained competitive.Â
Commercial & Operational Execution: Define market-level pricing, lead times, target costs, and manufacturing footprint strategies in coordination with Sales, Commercial Operations, andall key stakeholdersÂ
Aftermarket & Life-Extension Focus: Drive specialized solutions for nuclear utility plant life extensions, power uprates, retrofits, and critical outage parts in alignment withAftermarket organization.Â
Customer & Field Engagement: Partner with Regional Sales to conduct customer site visits (40–45% travel), build technical intimacy with utility plant engineers, and deliver advanced technical training. Â
Regulatory Governance: Ensure all commercial offerings, technical definitions, and project charters align with ASME Section III (Div 1 & 5), N/NPT certifications, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality programs. Â
New developments:Develop initiativefor the products, including pricing, promotion, advertising, R&D, manufacturing improvements, localization, strategic alliances, and partnershipsto ensure product competitiveness and profitability.Â

Required Qualifications & Skills:Â
U.S. Citizenship / National Status: Due to U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and federal nuclear regulatory restrictions on controlled technology,U.S. Citizenship or U.S. National status is strictlyrequired. Â
Industry Experience: 10–15+ years of relevant product management,Engineering,commercial operations, applications engineering, or technical sales experience within theU.S. commercial nuclear power industry.Â
Product Knowledge: Deep technical working familiarity withengineeredpumps, mechanical seals,or any other type ofrotating equipment used in nuclear power stations.Â
Nuclear Standards Mastery: Proven working knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, includingASME Section III (Div 1 & 5), N/NPT stamps, NQA-1, and 10 CFR 50 / 10 CFR 21. Â
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related technical/business discipline. Â
Travel Flexibility: Willingness and ability to travel40–45% across the Americas. Â
