Overview:

Sentara Medical Group is seeking aDirector of Operations I for Gastroenterology and Urology to oversee four practice locations in Norfolk, Newport News, and Elizabeth City. This newly created role will lead three Practice Managers and support the continued growth of Gastroenterology, Urology, and onsite endoscopy services.

The Director will oversee daily operations, staffing, patient access, scheduling, provider support, quality, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and practice performance. This leader will partner with physicians and executive leadership to identify operational gaps, develop consistent processes, and prepare the practices for future growth. Regular weekly travel between locations is required.

• Bachelor’s Degree Required

Experience

• Minimum five years of leadership experience required.

•  Ambulatory, physician-practice, specialty-clinic, or hospital operations experience required.

• Gastroenterology, Urology, endoscopy, or multi-site practice experience preferred.
