Warehouse Associate

Established in the year 2010, Secondbind.com is an online and local solution for selling textbooks in Canada. We love our planet! Our main goal is to save and plant as many trees as we can and also provide each customer with the opportunity to turn their unwanted textbooks into profit.

We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to support Second Bind's warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, ship, and unload textbooks and boxes.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory
• Inspect products for defects and damages
• Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space on a daily basis
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check and verify customer invoices
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Build shelves and boxes

• Proven warehouse experience (1 to 2 years of experience)
• Ability to work with software like ShipStation, Excel, and Word
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
• Good customer service skills
• Team player with organizational skills
• Ability to lift or move heavy boxes of up to 70 lbs
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during long shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move stuff around
• High school diploma
• Valid driver license + clean record
