Senior Microbiologist

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Microbiologist to join our Food Testing laboratory. The role will be responsible for performing and overseeing microbiological testing of food, feed and related samples, ensuring accurate and timely results while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and regulatory compliance.

• Perform and overseemicrobiological analysis of food, feed, water and related samples.

• Handleculture-based techniques and rapid microbiological testing methods as applicable.

• Review analytical results, worksheets and test reports for accuracy and completeness.

• Ensure adherence to approvedSOPs, test methods and quality requirements.

• Perform method verification/validation and support implementation of new microbiological test methods.

• Monitor laboratory equipment, media preparation, cultures and environmental conditions.

• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure data integrity.

• Ensure timely completion of samples while meeting definedTAT and quality standards.

• M.Sc. in Microbiology / Food Microbiology / Biotechnology or related Life Sciences discipline
• Preferably4–7 years of relevant experience in a food testing or microbiology laboratory.
