Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, established through a partnership withKing's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is seeking an outstandingTeacher of Primary English to join ourBilingual Division fromFebruary 2027.

The successful candidate will teach English to Upper Primary students, developing strong foundations inreading, writing, speaking and listening while building students' confidence, accuracy and independence in using English.

This is an opportunity to work with motivated young learners in a bilingual school environment, helping students strengthen theirEnglish language proficiency, literacy skills and readiness for Secondary School.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this English teaching position, candidates should have:

• Degree inEnglish, English Language, English Literature, Primary Education, or a closely related field

• Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such asUK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential

• At least3 years of relevant teaching experience

• Experience teachingEnglish at Upper Primary level

• Strong understanding ofPrimary literacy and English language development

• Experience working with students for whomEnglish is an additional language

• Experience teaching within aninternational, bilingual, British or comparable Primary school environment

• Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements

• Able to start inFebruary 2027

• Plan and deliver engaging, well-structuredEnglish lessons for Upper Primary students

• Develop students' skills inreading, writing, speaking and listening

• Build students'vocabulary, grammar, comprehension and written communication

• Encourage confident and accurate use of English in bothacademic and everyday contexts

• Use assessment and feedback to monitor progress and respond to individual learning needs

• Inspire students to engage withbooks, stories, writing and the wider English language

• Contribute to the wideracademic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the Bilingual Division
