Position SummaryÂ
The STOP Act Grant Coordinator is responsible for implementing, monitoring and performing process evaluation andÂ
coordinate PCDFC and STOP Act Grant program. Responsible for coalition planning, reporting, capacity building, project implementation, volunteer recruitment and coordination, local media outputs, resource management, and gatheringÂ
outcome data.Â
Essential Job DutiesÂ
• Provide information or training on evidence-based programs with youth access issues and compliance to staffÂ
and coalitionÂ
• Manage and evaluate educational and marketing materialsÂ
• Create or assess protocols for compliance checks and other PCDFC proceduresÂ
• Coordinate strategic planning meetings with Project Director and PCDFC Executive CommitteeÂ
• Track projects for PCDFCÂ
• Meet with any staff and Director weeklyÂ
• Implementation of training and special eventsÂ
• Abide by policies of PCDFC and ECU Â
• Cooperate fully with PCDFC and its partners to achieve goals and objectives Â
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.Â

Qualifications Â
• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, counseling or appropriate related field or within 1 year of completingÂ
Bachelor’s degreeÂ
• 3-5 years equivalent experience preferred Â
• Certified Prevention Specialist preferred or individual willing to obtain CPS Â
• Knowledge of prevention field and research-based prevention strategies Â
Licenses/CertificationsÂ
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesÂ
• Excellent verbal and communication skills Â
• Knowledge of online media Â
• Flexibility and ability to multi-task with various projects, programs and obligations. Â
• An understanding of prevention science Â
• Some travel is required as well as evening or weekend work Â
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamÂ
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive student informationÂ
• Must have a strong work ethic and lead by example Â
• Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the communityÂ
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsibleÂ
• Ability to communicate in a courteous mannerÂ
