Job Type:Local contract
Contract Length: 4+ months contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)Â
Pay Range:$42 to $46/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education. Â

Duties:Â

Perform echocardiograms and cardiac ultrasound examinations to evaluate heart structure, function, and blood flow.

Obtain high-quality diagnostic images using appropriate scanning techniques and equipment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established protocols.

Review images for completeness and quality, document findings, and prepare results for interpretation by the cardiologist or ordering provider.

Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout examinations while explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns professionally.

Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure proper equipment handling and infection control.
- Education:Â Associate degree or diploma in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Echocardiography, or Cardiovascular Technology from an accredited program.
- Certification(s):Â Echocardiographer certification required.
- Years of experience: 1–2 years of hands-on echocardiography scanning experience; cardiology experience preferred.
- Skills/Specialties/Technology:Â Echocardiography and cardiac ultrasound scanning, diagnostic image acquisition, cardiac anatomy and function assessment, patient care, accurate documentation, equipment handling, strong communication skills, positive personality, high energy, and flexibility.
