PAY RANGE: $92 - $102/hr.
DURATION: 6 Months
TOP 3 SKILLS:
- 6+ years of experience in ECAD library management, PLM administration, or electrical design data management in a hardware product environment.
- Deep hands-on expertise with Altium Designer, including Altium 365, vaults, managed components, and library management workflows.
- Production experience administering a PLM system β Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE / ENOVIA strongly preferred β including workflows, change management, and configuration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the Altium component library end-to-end: schematic symbols, PCB footprints, models, and parametric metadata
- Administer and evolve the Altium-to-3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) integration, ensuring electrical part masters, revisions, and BOM structures stay synchronized between ECAD and PLM.
- Manage the electrical part creation and release process β intake requests from design engineers, validate manufacturer data, assign internal part numbers, and drive parts through review to release.
- Configure and maintain 3DX (ENOVIA) workflows, change management, classification schemas, and attribute structures supporting electrical and electromechanical content.
- Partner with mechanical engineering on CATIA/3DX interoperability for PCB 3D models, connector geometry, harness routing data, and enclosure fit checks.
- Drive library data quality initiatives: duplicate detection, obsolescence and EOL flagging, and alternate/equivalent part management
- Support release engineering and NPI: verify manufacturing data packages, fabrication and assembly outputs, and BOM accuracy ahead of design releases.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers to jointly make schematic, BOM, and layout changes, including component placement and trace routing
