Eastdil Secured is currently seeking an Associate to join our Hospitality team in San Francisco. This individual will beafforded new challenges with the opportunity to develop deepexpertise in hospitality transactions covering. This position will involve a significant role in client and investor communication, supervision of other teammembers and the underwriting process,creation and execution of marketing collateral, as well as hands-on training. 

Essential Functions 
 

• Working closely with senior team members on presentations and financial analysis. 

• Financial underwriting, due diligencereview and transaction execution. 

• Performing comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis. 

• Preparing presentations, and other materials for clients including pitches, proposals, and marketing materials. 

• Developing investment theses based on extensive market knowledge,research and analytics. 

• Conducting property tours with prospective clients. 

Education and Qualifications 

• Candidates mustdemonstrate a combination of academic aptitude, quantitative skills, personal motivation, and distinguished written and oral communication skills. 

• 2+ years of commercial real estate investment banking or hospitality finance experience. 

• Bachelor’s degree isrequired, with a preference for business, real estate,finance and accounting concentrations. 

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required 

• Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance and hospitality. 

• Strong financial analysis and Excel modeling skills. 

• Proficient in performing quantitative and qualitative analysis of deals using financial modeling techniques andstrong attention to detail. 

• Demonstrated ability to consistently producehigh quality work under tighttime frames. 

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities toconclusion within agreed upon deadlines. 

• Strong market research experience and interestcontributing to strategic planning and idea generation, as well as assisting in the execution of strategic advisory services. 

• Strong sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results. 

• Eastdil Secured requires each non-administrative, exempt staff member to be licensed asappropriate in the respective region.
