About the team:
Walmart’s Corporate Development team collaborates closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and execute strategic mergers and acquisitions initiatives. This focused group drives value through acquisitions, investments, divestitures, and partnerships that support Walmart’s growth and innovation objectives. As a Senior Manager, you will work alongside business and functional leaders, as well as external partners, to deliver impactful results. The team emphasizes strategic analysis, project management, and effective communication to advance corporate goals and ensure successful execution of complex transactions in a dynamic business environment.
What you'll do:
- Lead complex problem-solving initiatives and guide implementation of corrective actions across functions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive strategic corporate development and mergers and acquisitions projects.
- Develop and apply financial analyses, valuations, and business plans to support decision-making and maximize returns.
- Facilitate negotiations and prepare data-driven insights for senior leadership.
- Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project timelines, resources, and objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows using technology.
- Communicate business impacts clearly to audiences and influence strategic alignment.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions strategy, including target evaluation and due diligence planning.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex data, forecast impacts, and develop business-centric solutions.
- Proven project management skills to lead multiple corporate development initiatives and ensure alignment on timelines and resources.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to influence stakeholders and support contractual discussions.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive strategic alignment across teams and markets.
- Expertise in identifying risks, opportunities, and process improvements to enhance data-driven decision-making.

The annual salary range for this position is $108,000.00 - $216,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
