Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineering Lead with strong software development and cloud computing background to help us shape and deliver our clinical data services supporting our clinical trials.
You will lead a team of software engineers and be part of our product team that focuses on technology and process innovation to deliver seamless data flow across the clinical data pipeline.
This role is central to orchestrating the flow of clinical data across our services. Bringing in data from external partners, transforming andharmonizing it to meet regulatory requirements, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery for submissions. Ultimately accelerating the path to innovative therapies for patients.  Â
Your responsibilities:  Â
Lead a team of software engineers to deliver innovative technology solutions and maintain a secure and modern technology landscape Â
Assess current solutions and develop roadmaps to enhance business value Â
Ensure product solutions align with experimentation, human-centered design, and agile principles Â
Collaborate with product managers to clarify technical and business requirements for effective sprint planning Â
Shape the technical vision and strategy of the product, working closely with product managers and architecture Â
Demonstrate non-authoritative leadership with the team and foster strong partnerships with business stakeholders Â
Share knowledge and mentor team members in technical design and architecture Â
Must haves:  Â
Software development experienceÂ
Fluent in written and spoken English Â
Self-driven with the ability to work in a self-guided manner  Â
Strong problem-solving skills  Â
Experience with deployments, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes Â
Expertise in cloud computing technologies and platforms Â
Solid understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
Python, AWS Lambda / Step Functions / DynamoDB / S3 / IAM
Nice to haves:  Â
Experience with modern data platform concepts and technologies
Vendor management skills Â
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry Â
Experience with GxP validations, particularly in GCP (Good Clinical Practices) Â
Clinical data standards - CDISC SDTM, ADaM
Experience working in a product team
Databricks, PySpark, Terraform
