E&P - Manager Design & Engineering (Structural)

Main Purpose of the Job:

a)Design and engineering of an integrated steel plant covering the following:

• Conceptualization

• Basic Engineering

• Detailed Engineering

• Design & Engineering – Monitoring & Control

b) Documentation and record maintenance of engineering deliverables & reference documents.

Key Accountabilities:

·Clear understanding of Civil / Structural/Architectural engineering standards, practices, design criteria, calculations etc.

·Delivery of structural design and detail drawing as per project time frame & standard.

·Preparation of technical specifications

·Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other inter-departments for design & engineering

·Assistance in Value Engineering

·Participate in 3D model reviews of respective areas to check and comment 3D models.

·Conceptualization, Basic & detail engineering

·Coordinate with technology suppliers, equipment vendors and other departments (D&E, P&C, BU, CP) for completion of deliverables ensuring first time right.

·Value engineering, implementation of best practices, fit for purpose design meeting the standard/ norms requirements.

·Capture and implementation of learnings.
