Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project EHS plans, procedures and emergency response arrangements.
• Advise project teams, customers, consortium partners and contractors on EHS requirements and safe work practices.
• Conduct site inspections, identify unsafe conditions and follow through on corrective actions. Intervene when work presents an immediate safety risk.
• Identify training needs and coordinate EHS inductions, toolbox talks and other training for employees and contractors.
• Support risk assessments and permit-to-work processes in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor EHS performance, maintain records and report issues and improvement actions to project and site management.
• Participate in EHS audits and reviews, and help address gaps between company, customer and contractor requirements.
• Coordinate EHS activities across contractors and project teams, including work at multiple sites when required.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant experience managing EHS activities in project, construction, field service or other site-based operations.
• Working knowledge of Singapore workplace safety and health requirements, risk assessments and site safety procedures.
• Ability to engage effectively with customers, contractors and employees at different levels.
• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to respond calmly and make sound decisions during safety incidents.
• Ability to travel between project or service sites as required.

Desired Characteristics

• WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or relevant WSH qualification.
• Experience with EHS management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Strong planning, reporting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence others and promote a positive safety culture.
