Summary:The Senior ComplianceOfficeris responsible forthe ongoing development anddelivery oftherisk-basedCompliance frameworkat Cboe Europe, encompassinga Compliance Monitoring Programme,independent second-linechallenge andoversight, provision of advice and guidanceto the business,maintenance ofcompliance policies and proceduresandtheperiodic reportingof management information to governance forums.  

Based in London,the successful applicant will be part of an experienced Compliance team, whichhas oversight of Cboe Europe’s businesses in the UK andAmsterdam andmaintainsthe relationship with its regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities 

• Implement the risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme (CMP) 

• Deliver theperiodicCompliance Risk Assessment,as the key driver oftheCMP  

• Stayup to date with the latestUK and EUlegislative andregulatory requirements 

• Assess the impacton the businessof newand upcoming regulatory changes 

• Provide compliance advice to the businesswith respect to new and existing regulations 

• Provideinputto the businessonnew initiatives andprojects and their impactonregulatory obligations 

• Produce,review andmaintain, asrequired,internal compliance policies,procedures andcontrols 

• Maintain the relationship withregulatory bodiesand keep them apprised ofall required information 

• Ensure allregulatory filings withregulatory bodies, asrequired, aresubmitted on time 

Requirements 

• Abachelor’s degree or equivalent 

• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations 

• Strong multi-tasking and customer service skills 

• Previous experience of working in a compliance department at an exchange orregulated firm 

• Familiarity with trading techniques and technology  

• Knowledge of current UK and EU regulatory regime 

• Strong troubleshooting,problem-solving and analytical skills 

• Ability to work well in a team environment 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• A desire to embracenew technologies to enhance productivity and drive efficiencies
