YourJourney 

• Assist in administering the sale of beverages in outlet, lounge, and banquet functions, as well as teaching and mentoring bartenders, servers, and other associates involved in the sale of alcoholic beverages 

• Guide guests through the wine list, offering detailed descriptions and recommendations based on their preferences and menu selections. 

• Engage guests in discussions about wine, answering questions, sharing insights, and providing memorable anecdotes or stories about featured wines. 

• Educateassociates about wine regions, grape varietals, flavor profiles, and food pairings through training sessions, tastings, and educational materials. 

• Conduct associatetraining on wine service standards, including proper decanting, pouring, and presentation techniques. 

• Provide ongoing mentorship and support to develop the wine knowledge and service skills of team members. 

• Maintain the wine cellar inoptimal condition, ensuring proper temperature, humidity, and storage conditions to preserve wine quality. 

• Conduct regular inventory audits,monitor wine aging, and track cellar rotation to minimize waste and maximize profitability. 

• Work with restaurant management to oversee beverage costs and pricing 

• Maintain wine and cocktail lists with Bartenders and Beverage Managers  

• Attend daily pre-shift meeting 

• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments 

• Performadditional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

PhysicalRequirements 

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift 

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
