The Consultant is a member of the Business Intelligence team, providing dedicated analytics and reporting support for TransUnion Mexico and the broader LATAM region. This role is responsible for delivering scalable business intelligence solutions that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions, improve operational performance, and drive business growth. The position combines technical development, business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and end-to-end project execution, with a strong focus on Salesforce-driven reporting and analytics.

  • Partner with business stakeholders across Mexico and LATAM to understand objectives, define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-impact analytics solutions.
  • Translate business questions and reporting needs into scalable, user-focused dashboards, reports, and analytical products that support decision-making.
  • Identify, acquire, and evaluate data sources required to support reporting, performance measurement, and business insights.
  • Design, transform, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources to create trusted and reusable analytical datasets.
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes, semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Alteryx, and Salesforce reporting capabilities.
  • Lead the end-to-end solution lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, user enablement, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply data governance, quality assurance, documentation, and change management standards to ensure reliable and sustainable reporting solutions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in English and Spanish.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives across business functions, including Sales, Delivery & Implementation, Marketing, Billing & Revenue, Operational Support, and Forecasting.

Required Knowledge And Experiences

  • 5+ years of experience delivering business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions for internal business stakeholders, including significant experience with CRM analytics and Salesforce reporting environments.
  • Advanced experience developing and supporting end-to-end data and reporting solutions, including data acquisition, transformation, validation, dashboard development, and ongoing solution optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data transformation, data quality, and reporting architecture principles required to build scalable and trusted analytical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise analytics and visualization platforms, including Alteryx for ETL and data preparation and Power BI (or comparable tools) for dashboard and report development.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders and working in Agile or iterative delivery environments, including project planning, estimation, risk management, and delivery tracking.

Required Technical Skills

    • Advanced SQL proficiency for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and performance optimization.
    • Advanced experience with Alteryx or comparable ETL and data preparation technologies.
    • Advanced experience developing interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or an equivalent enterprise business intelligence platform.

    • Experience with cloud data and analytics platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, Microsoft Fabric, Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau, or Domo.
    • Experience supporting Sales Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Service or Case Analytics, revenue performance reporting, or forecasting initiatives.
