Mid Software Engineer (.NET / AI-Augmented)

We are hiring aMid Software Engineer for one of our key FinTech product teams. In this role, you will help build business-critical solutions for alternative investment managers across the full investment lifecycle. It is a great fit for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, quickly understands business concepts, and is motivated to use modern AI-assisted development practices to deliver high-quality software.

Your daily life:

• Develop functional features in the core accounting module with an eye on high performance.
• Triage and resolve complex issues reported on existing production systems.
• Work closely with AI coding assistants, which will often generate a significant portion of the code. Your responsibility is to validate, refine, test, and successfully implement effective solutions.
• Translate business requirements and concepts into scalable technical solutions.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, product owners, and development team members to facilitate understanding of deliverables, estimates, and prioritization.
• Build and leverage AI Agents and agent-based workflows to improve product capabilities and engineering productivity.
• Participate in high-level design of highly complicated tasks.

What you bring:

• At least 4-5 years of software design and development using C# and related frameworks.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar).
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Deep understanding and on-hands experience with QA practices – automated testing and coverage strategies.
• Knowledge of partnership accounting for alternative investment funds is desired.
• Clear understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis & Design, Design Patterns, SOA, Concurrency.
• Excellent logical thinking and the ability to quickly understand new concepts, business domains and technical challenges.
• Ability to work unattended, as a highly proactive self-starter.
• Bring a positive, can-do attitude, and a relentless aspiration for process improvement.
