Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance iOS applications usingUIKit and SwiftUI

• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver seamless user experiences

• Writeclean, maintainable, and testable code aligned to industry best practices

• IntegrateRESTful APIs and support WebView-based journeys where required

• Participate inSDLC processes, including estimation, development, code reviews, testing, and release cycles

• Support debugging, troubleshooting, andproduction issue resolution using a structured approach

• Contribute toteam-based delivery, adhering to shared coding standards, Git workflows, and engineering practices

• Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to innovation within the mobile practice

Required Experience & Skills

Core iOS Development

• 7+ years’ experience in iOS/mobile development

• Strong knowledge ofiOS native frameworks and first-party APIs

• Experience withUIKit and/or SwiftUI in production environments

• Solid understanding ofapp lifecycle, navigation, and UI performance considerations

Swift & Language Fundamentals

• Strong understanding of Swift fundamentals, including:

  • Structs vs classes, protocols, and abstraction

  • Memory management (ARC, retain cycles)

  • Error handling and collections

• Experience withmodern concurrency (async/await, GCD, or Combine)

Architecture & Code Quality

• Experience working withMVVM or similar architectural patterns

• Understanding ofseparation of concerns and modular application design

• Ability to work within anexisting codebase and adapt to established patterns

• Exposure toclean code principles and design patterns

Testing & Delivery

• Experience withunit testing concepts and frameworks

• Understanding ofmocking, dependency injection, and testable code design

• Familiarity withGit workflows, code reviews, and collaborative development practices

Mobile Engineering Fundamentals

• Understanding ofAPI integration and asynchronous data handling

• Awareness ofmobile security best practices (secure storage, authentication, data handling)

• Exposure toversioning, release processes, and CI/CD principles

Nice to Have

• Experience withSwiftUI advanced concepts (state management, lifecycle handling, localisation)

• Familiarity withdependency injection frameworks

• Exposure toanalytics, monitoring, or crash reporting tools

• Experience working inlarge-scale or enterprise environments

Additional Experience

• Authentication and security experience would be beneficial

• Security and role-based feature provisioning experience would be beneficial
