Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Drafter (AutoCAD)for a contract assignment with one of our premier Utility Services clients in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities :
Creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for construction or engineering projects. Responsibilities include collaborating w/ engr. and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications, updating and revising drawings, and maintaining organized project documentations.
  • Support the Engineering, Construction, and Project Management (ECPM) team within Electric Delivery (ED) with drafting needs. The ECPM team oversees the planning, design, and execution of major capital project within ED. Including Transmission, Substation, and Distribution project.
  • Oversee Drafting Standards
  • Assist with contractor lead drafting
  • Quality Assurance
  • Ad hoc drafting needs
  • Document management and integration
  • Coordination between departments
Required Skills:
  • Education generally involves a degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or civil engineering with certifications in CAD being a plus.
  • 2 or more years of exp. In AutoCAD drafting is typically required.
  • GSI Technologies & Software
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Software and Related tools
  • Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate drafting.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
