Drafter

Job Summary/Objective

MAK Talent is representing a civil engineering firm that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drafter to join their dynamic team in Park City, UT. This position is ideal for someone who is eager to take ownership of their projects and engage directly in the drafting and design process. The Drafter will be involved in roadway design, utility design, storm water management, and much more, contributing to the successful execution of civil engineering projects.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D

• Hands-on experience with civil engineering design and drafting

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, including earthwork calculations and utility placement in plans

• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting: Utilize AutoCAD or Civil 3D to create and modify project plans, ensuring accuracy in alignment, utilities integration, and earthwork calculations.

• Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors and other team members to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines.

• Problem-Solving: Address engineering challenges as they arise and implement effective solutions.

• Survey Drafting: boundary surveys, existing condition and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and preparing subdivision and condominium plats.
