This position requires you to be in the office in Montreal three days a week! Behaviour is looking for a Documentation Specialist Intern to join the team ! In this role, you'll have the chance to work with the technical writer and create documentation. The documentation could be directly related to game production work or cover processes related to game production within the organization. In this role you will :
- Create and help review documentation about software systems, processes, and pipelines.
- Structure information for its target audience.
- Improve existing documentation for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Collaborate with the Documentation team to support knowledge sharing and documentation best practices.
- Partner with technical leads and stakeholders across multiple disciplines to gather information and translate complex concepts into accessible content.
What we're looking for :
- A self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative person who wants to keep learning.
- Familiarity with game development terminology, such as engines, pipelines, and builds.
- Interest in game development, especially its technical side.
- Strong written English, with the ability to write clear, concise, well-structured content and close attention to detail.
- Bonus: experience with documentation tools such as Confluence or Notion.
Dans ce rôle tu devras :
- Créer et contribuer à la révision de la documentation sur les systèmes logiciels, les processus et les pipelines.
- Structurer l'information en fonction de son public cible.
- Améliorer la documentation existante pour en assurer l'exactitude, la clarté et la cohérence.
- Collaborer avec l'équipe de documentation pour favoriser le partage des connaissances et l'application des bonnes pratiques en documentation.
- Travailler avec les responsables techniques et les parties prenantes de différentes disciplines pour recueillir l'information et traduire des concepts complexes en contenu accessible.
Ce que nous recherchons :
- Une personne autonome, capable de s'adapter, qui aime travailler en équipe et a envie de continuer à apprendre.
- Une connaissance de la terminologie du développement de jeux vidéo, comme les moteurs de jeu, les pipelines et les builds.
- Un intérêt pour le développement de jeux vidéo, particulièrement pour ses aspects techniques.
- D'excellentes compétences en rédaction en anglais, avec la capacité de produire un contenu clair, concis et bien structuré, et une grande attention aux détails.
- Atout : une expérience avec des outils de documentation comme Confluence ou Notion.
