SIE is looking for aDocument Controls Specialist – Rail/Transit to support various MTA C&D transit construction projects. This position will be responsible for supporting construction management, including quality, schedule, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and validate force account and contractor payments
- Coordination of submittal process, logging and distributing RFI’s and responses, shop drawings, and reports
- Coordination with MTA and other stakeholders
- Assist in preparation of reports, plans, and forms, as directed
- Generate weekly and monthly progress reports
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or similar preferred
- Combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates ability to perform duties
- 5+ years of experience in document controls, preferably for rail projects
- Familiarity with ASITE, Constructware, or other project management software
- Excellent communication skills and work ethic
Expected salary range is $110,000 - $125,000 annually. Actual compensation will be dependent on the individual’s qualifications, skills, experience, and physical work location.
