We specialize in the distribution and expert refurbishment of essential medical equipment, including sterilizers, surgical microscopes, pumps, monitors, anesthesia machines, and more. Our mission is to enhance the quality of healthcare by ensuring providers have access to reliable, high-performing equipment. This position will support Prescott's Med.

The Divisional Controller at Prescott’s Med is a key strategic finance leader responsible for driving financial performance and partnering closely with the General Manager of the division to ensure alignment with business objectives. This role goes beyond traditional accounting oversight—it is a critical business partner providing financial insight, commercial support, and strategic direction to enable growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The Divisional Controller owns divisional budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and partners closely with the centralized Shared Services team (billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable) and the accounting team (month-end close) to ensure the division's financial reporting is accurate, timely, and reflective of business realities, while ensuring compliance and strong internal controls. This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, influencing decision-making, and supporting initiatives that enhance shareholder value.

This position will be worked onsite at our facility in Monument, CO.

  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.
  • Review and validate divisional financial statements prepared by the accounting group; present performance metrics and insights to divisional and corporate leadership
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability between the division and the centralized Shared Services and Accounting teams, ensuring billing, A/P, A/R, and month-end close outputs meet divisional service-level, accuracy, and timeliness expectations.

  • Recommend benchmarks and KPIs to measure divisional success and drive accountability.
  • Provide financial modeling and analysis to support capital investments and strategic initiatives.

Margin Expansion & Cash Acceleration

  • Deliver a monthly margin bridge (price, volume, mix, material, labor, overhead) by product line and key customer and drive a pipeline of margin-improvement initiatives.
  • Own divisional working capital performance (DSO, DIO, DPO, and cash conversion cycle); partner with Shared Services on past-due collections, billing accuracy, and dispute resolution, and Operations on inventory reduction.
  • Track and report on the realized benefits of growth, margin, and cash initiatives against targets.

Systems, Data & AI

  • Use NetSuite as the system of record for divisional reporting; NSAW experience would be an asset
  • Apply AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, reconciliations, and variance commentary, redirecting finance time toward business partnering.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Experience operating in a shared-services or centralized accounting model preferred, with the ability to influence and hold centralized teams accountable without direct authority.
