Title-Distribution Specialist - II
Location-El Segundo, California, USA, 90245
Duration- 10 months contract 
Onsite Position - 4 days per week - 10 hrs/day -
Shift: Swing 1:00 pm to 11:30 pm PST 
  • The Distribution Specialist II supportswarehouse andsupply chain operations byreceiving, storing, dispensing, and shipping GMP and non-GMP materials.
  • This role maintainsinventory accuracy, performs ERP transactions, supports production through material kitting and deliveries, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • The position works closely with internal customers to ensure timely material availability while maintaining an inspection-ready warehouse environment.
Knowledge:
  • Has a general, basic familiarity with the department.
  • Basic knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
  • Demonstrates good clerical and administrative skills.
Specific Education & Experience Requirements:
  • 1+ years of relevant experience, HS Diploma and/or higher.
  • Ability to performinventory transactions and followstandard operating procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Specific Job Responsibilities:
  • Performs basic administrative and/or physical tasks involved in the internaltransfer of materialsfollowing SOPs and GMP standards.
  • Receive and process incoming GMP and non-GMP materials and equipment.
  • Dispense and kit materialsfor manufacturing and production operations.
  • Deliver raw materials, samples, and finished products while maintaining required temperature controls.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records throughcycle counts and ERP transactions.
  • Monitor Kanban replenishment systems and communicateinventory discrepancies.
  • Builds, prepares and stages outbound deliveries of orders for external customers
  • Adheres consistently to SOPs and cGMPs.
  • Escalates deviations in process or product to supervisor, to ensure on-time delivery of material and return of rejected or unsuitable orders.
