Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:00 PM
Location:Hodgkins, IL 60525
Pay Rate: $28.00–$33.36 per hour
Contract Duration: 2 months

Overview

The Distribution Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse and distribution operations within an assigned account, department, or station. This position helps ensure efficient workflow, accurate inventory, consistent quality standards, and effective utilization of warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations.

• Coordinate inbound receiving, inventory control, and outbound shipping activities.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with established quality standards.

• Monitor employee productivity and support effective utilization of labor resources.

• Track operational performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.

• Ensure assigned work is completed accurately and within required timelines.

• Coordinate workflow and help resolve day-to-day operational issues.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse environment.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes and productivity.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience

• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.

• Experience leading, coordinating, or supporting warehouse teams.

• Knowledge of inventory management and inventory accuracy procedures.

• Experience with inbound and outbound logistics.

• Shipping and receiving experience.

• Ability to monitor productivity and operational efficiency.

• Strong attention to quality and process improvement.

• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
