Schedule: Monday – Friday | 11:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Contract Duration: 2+ Months
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Shift: Overnight | Part-Time (25 hours per week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Yard Operations Clerk to support overnight transportation and yard operations. This position involves tracking inbound and outbound equipment, coordinating driver dispatch activities, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring trailer locations match the computer system.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and track inbound and outbound equipment movements.

• Monitor scheduled versus actual equipment types to ensure accurate reporting.

• Utilize the Feeder Scheduling System (FSS) to review reports and dispatch drivers.

• Enter and maintain employee timecard information accurately.

• Conduct outdoor yard checks to verify trailer positions against computer system records.

• Identify and report discrepancies in equipment locations or scheduling.

• Support daily yard operations and maintain accurate documentation.

Work Environment & Requirements

• Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM.

• Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain detailed records.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

• Must be willing to perform yard checks in varying weather conditions, including extreme cold, heat, rain, and snow.

• Appropriate weather-related attire is required for outdoor duties.
