Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Yard Operations Clerk to support daily transportation and yard operations. This position is responsible for tracking inbound and outbound equipment, coordinating driver dispatch activities, and maintaining accurate equipment records.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and track inbound and outbound equipment movements.

• Monitor scheduled versus actual equipment types to ensure accuracy.

• Utilize Feeder Scheduling System (FSS) reports to coordinate and dispatch drivers.

• Enter and maintain employee timecard information.

• Conduct outdoor yard checks to verify trailer locations and ensure physical trailer positions match the computer system.

• Maintain accurate records and support efficient daily yard operations.

Work Environment

• Position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.

• Appropriate attire is required to ensure comfort and safety while performing outdoor duties.
