Our client is seeking a Disaster Recovery Programmer Support Consultant to join a top-tier financial institution. This role combines software development, API management, and disaster recovery testing support with a focus on maintaining critical system resilience and documentation.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Develop, test, and manage API codebases and features using RESTful and SOAP architectures
Execute bug identification and remediation across disaster recovery systems and applications
Create, maintain, and enhance technical documentation for disaster recovery procedures and recovery plans
Coordinate with DevOps teams on system maintenance and manage DR Test Day execution with comprehensive reporting
Develop and enhance reporting features; perform ad hoc reporting and monthly metrics analysis on disaster recovery test management
Track and escalate issues identified during testing through to resolution; conduct external vendor reviews
Review, enhance, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to disaster recovery operations
Script and automate recovery plan creation procedures within the Fusion Risk Management System
Requirements
8-10 years of relevant professional experience
JavaScript proficiency with minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience; proficiency in HTML and CSS
Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP APIs; experience with Visual Studio Code
Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
Working knowledge of Fusion Risk Management System and disaster recovery testing frameworks
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal); demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments
