Salary Range: $180K-$200K/Annum
Job Description:
- Client is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated professional with sound business insight and growth instincts within the Energy and Utilities pace.
- The Senior/Principal Director - Business Development is responsible for business penetration and expansion into new accounts and capability pursuits in existing domain.
- We are looking for individuals with a strong network that have worked for or sold into the Mining Industry.
- We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Director / Senior Director – Business Development with a strong track record of hunting and acquiring new enterprise accounts within the Mining sectors.
- The ideal candidate will have an established network of C-level and senior business executives, a strong understanding of industry challenges, and proven experience selling IT Services, Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data & Analytics, and Enterprise Technology solutions.
- This is primarily a Hunter / New Logo role focused on identifying target accounts, building executive relationships, creating new opportunities, and converting prospects into long-term enterprise clients.
- Drive new-logo acquisition and business development across Mining accounts.
- Identify, target, and penetrate new enterprise accounts through strategic prospecting and relationship building.
- Develop and maintain relationships with C-suite, VP, and senior business/technology executives.
- Sell and position Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI, and Enterprise Technology services.
- Own the complete sales cycle from prospecting and opportunity creation through proposal, negotiation, and closure.
- Carry and consistently achieve sales quotas / revenue targets.
- Build and manage a healthy pipeline through outbound prospecting, executive networking, industry events, campaigns, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
- Develop compelling value propositions based on industry trends, client challenges, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with internal delivery, consulting, technology, service-line, and executive leadership teams to develop solutions and win new business.
- Lead and coordinate RFP/RFI/proposal development, presentations, and client negotiations.
- Develop strategic account-entry and account-penetration plans for targeted prospects.
- Construct commercial deals aligned with profitability and business objectives.
- Conduct formal opportunity/deal reviews and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Lead contract negotiations and drive opportunities through successful closure.
- Build a strong understanding of Energy, Utilities, and Mining industry trends, technology investments, and transformation priorities.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, executive forums, client events, and networking activities.
- 10–12+ years of successful experience in B2B sales / business development, preferably within IT Services, Digital Transformation, Consulting, or Technology Services.
- Proven track record as a Hunter / New Logo sales professional.
- Demonstrated experience carrying and achieving sales quotas.
- Existing network and relationships within Energy, Utilities, Mining, or related industrial sectors.
- Experience selling Digital, Cloud, Data & Analytics, AI, Enterprise Technology, or IT Services.
- Proven ability to develop relationships with C-level and senior executives.
- Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles and large-value deals.
- Strong consultative and solution-oriented selling approach.
- Experience working collaboratively with delivery, consulting, technology, and executive teams.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently create presentations and sales proposals with limited support.
- Strong understanding of industry challenges, technology trends, and enterprise technology spending.
