Overland ParkRegional Medical Centeris a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical servicesto our patients. We are Johnson Countys only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit andLevel II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Ourhospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Childrens healthcareservices. We offer the regions only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care forcritically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, alabor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms,including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs locatedin Olathe and Shawnee. Each year our colleagues treat over 45,000 patients.Caring for patients is more than a job for us, it's our mission and ourcalling. Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer,provides nursing leadership for assessment, planning,implementing andevaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) houraccountability.

Collaborates withphysicians and other departments tomeet patient and family needs. Manages resources in a fiscally responsiblemanner.

Supportsthe hospital mission in accordance withregulatory standards.

Whatqualifications you will need:

• At least 5 years of RECENT (Within the last year) as a manager or director in a large hospital experience in Women Services. Needs experience with at least 3500 births a year in a high acuity facility.

Education: Graduation from school of nursing required. Bachelor ofScience in Nursing preferred

Licensure/Certifications: Currently licensed as a registeredprofessional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has anactivecompact license, in accordance with law and regulation.

Certification in area of specialty preferred.

Excellentoral and written communication, interpersonal,organizational and leadership skills required.

Ability to achieveand thenmaintain BCLS certification isrequired.
