POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Director of the Reentry & Healing Hub provides leadership, operational oversight, and program development for a newly established initiative funded by the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). As the inaugural Program Director, this individual will be responsible for launching and building a comprehensive, community-based reentry program serving justice-involved adults ages 18 and older throughout Yonkers and Westchester County. The position will play a critical role in establishing the program's operational infrastructure, service delivery systems, staffing structures, community partnerships, and performance expectations to ensure a successful launch and long-term sustainability.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Programs, the Program Director will work in close partnership with this senior leadership role to translate the approved DCJS work plan into an effective, coordinated, and accountable program. The Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based services, including Cognitive Behavioral Interventions (CBI), trauma-informed supportive counseling, individualized case management, academic and career development, workforce readiness, peer mentorship, and healing-centered programming. The position will also coordinate services with community partners to strengthen referral pathways and expand opportunities for successful community reintegration.
The Program Director will be responsible for ensuring high-quality program implementation, effective staff supervision, participant engagement, contractual compliance, accurate documentation, and achievement of established performance outcomes. The Program Director will help shape the culture, systems, and direction of the Reentry & Healing Hub while advancing the YMCA of Yonkers' commitment to community safety, economic opportunity, personal development, and successful reintegration for individuals impacted by the criminal justice system.
