Family First Health is seeking an experienced clinical leader to serve as Director of Pediatric Therapy Services. This position will provide leadership and oversight for pediatric therapy services and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, coordinated, and family-centered care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Department Leadership and Operations
⢠Lead Therapy Services department meetings and communicate organizational, clinical, operational, and policy updates.
⢠Partner with appropriate operational staff to monitor department scheduling, access, productivity, utilization, and efficiency trends.
⢠Monitor and reinforce current professional scope-of-practice requirements and applicable state and national standards for therapy disciplines.
⢠Conduct or coordinate routine documentation and chart review activities to support quality, compliance, and documentation standards.
⢠Coordinate continuing education, in-service education, and professional development opportunities for therapy staff.
⢠Support student clinician, internship, volunteer, and shadowing experiences in accordance with organizational requirements.
⢠Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community partners, schools, primary care providers, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
⢠Manage departmental resources, supplies, equipment, and budget-related activities in collaboration with organizational leadership.
⢠Establish and maintain department goals, priorities, workflows, and team practices that support timely, high-quality services.
⢠Participate in electronic health record workflow improvement and other operational initiatives affecting Therapy Services.
⢠Facilitate quality improvement planning and implementation within the department.
⢠Identify and recommend new or enhanced therapy programming that supports Family First Health's mission and community needs.
Staff Leadership and Supervision
⢠Provide direct supervision and leadership to assigned Therapy Services staff, as determined by the organizational structure.
⢠Participate in recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, performance management, goal setting, employee engagement, and development activities.
⢠Provide regular, timely feedback and complete performance evaluations in accordance with Family First Health expectations.
⢠Support appropriate clinical mentorship and supervision of student clinicians and other learners.
⢠Oversee assigned contractors, vendors, or external partners providing therapy-related services, as applicable.
⢠Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary culture grounded in accountability, respect, patient experience, and continuous improvement.
Clinical Practice
⢠Maintain an active clinical caseload as operationally appropriate and within the Therapy Director's licensed discipline.
⢠Evaluate patients using appropriate standardized tools, clinical observation, caregiver input, interdisciplinary information, and professional judgment.
⢠Develop individualized, patient-centered, functional, and measurable plans of care within the clinician's licensed scope of practice.
⢠Provide skilled therapeutic interventions consistent with the established plan of care and applicable professional standards.
⢠Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing-related documentation in accordance with organizational, payer, and regulatory requirements.
⢠Monitor patient progress toward established goals and revise treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
⢠Communicate patient progress and care needs with patients/families, the interdisciplinary care team, referring providers, and other appropriate partners.
⢠Demonstrate culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care.
⢠Report incidents and safety concerns through established Family First Health processes.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Required Education and Experience
⢠Graduate degree or other professional degree required for licensure in the incumbent's therapy discipline.
⢠Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania professional license in Speech-Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or another therapy discipline approved for the position.
⢠Minimum of five (5) years of outpatient therapy management or leadership experience; pediatric experience preferred.
⢠Clinical experience sufficient to maintain an active caseload within the incumbent's licensed discipline.
⢠Current CPR/First Aid certification and completion of all Family First Health required onboarding and annual training.
Preferred Qualifications
⢠Experience leading interdisciplinary rehabilitation or pediatric therapy services.
⢠Experience with quality improvement, clinical documentation review, productivity management, and program development.
⢠Experience working in community health, an FQHC, outpatient rehabilitation, or a comparable multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
⢠Knowledge of professional scope of practice, applicable Pennsylvania practice requirements, and relevant national professional standards for outpatient rehabilitation services.
⢠Knowledge of pediatric development and family-centered care principles, when applicable to assigned services.
⢠Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, documentation, and clinical compliance requirements.
⢠Strong leadership, delegation, coaching, and staff development skills.
⢠Ability to analyze department productivity, access, quality, and operational trends and develop appropriate action plans.
⢠Ability to organize and manage multiple competing clinical and administrative priorities.
⢠Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with patients, families, staff, leadership, regulators, and community partners.
⢠Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of protected health information and sensitive organizational information.
⢠Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary, patient-centered environment.
⢠Strong computer proficiency, including electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
⢠Ability to adhere to all Family First Health policies, processes, and procedures and to articulate and advocate Family First Health's mission and values.
