Job Overview
Our client, a confidential company in the service industry, is seeking an experiencedDirector of Infrastructure to lead its Networking, IT Operations, and Help Desk teams. This leadership role will oversee approximately 15 employees and ensure the reliability, performance, and efficiency of the company's IT infrastructure and support operations.
The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in a Director-level position. This individual should have strong leadership skills, a hands-on understanding of infrastructure operations, and the ability to manage multiple technical teams while aligning IT services with business objectives.
Experience with theUniverse platform is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Networking, IT Operations, and Help Desk groups.
- Oversee a team of approximately 15 employees, providing leadership, guidance, and professional development.
- Ensure the availability, reliability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure and network systems.
- Manage day-to-day IT operations, service delivery, and help desk support.
- Establish and improve IT processes, operational procedures, and service standards.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with the CIO on IT strategy, infrastructure planning, and operational priorities.
- Coordinate across teams to resolve technical issues and maintain business continuity.
- Drive operational efficiency and ensure timely resolution of infrastructure and end-user support issues.
- Support technology initiatives and infrastructure improvements in line with organizational needs.
Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, IT operations, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Director-level leadership role.
- Proven experience managing networking, infrastructure operations, and help desk or IT support teams.
- Experience leading and developing technical teams, ideally in an organization of comparable size.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure management, network operations, and service delivery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced business environment.
- Willingness to work onsite five days a week in Burbank Hills, California.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Universe platform.
- Experience in the service industry or a similar business environment.
- Experience improving IT operations, support processes, and infrastructure performance.
