DIRECTOR, HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (14207)

Job Summary:        

• Oversee and facilitate medical staff services functions.    
• Manage health information management functions consistent with regulatory requirements.    
• Facilitate and ensure Joint Commission continuous readiness process.    
• Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.      
• Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.        

Qualifications

Education:                
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field, preferably a BS in health information management. CPMSM/CPCS certification preferred.                

Experience:               
Experience required as a medical staff coordinator, supervisor, or manager level in an acute care facility.

Additional Skills/Abilities:

Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills are required. Computer skills required. Must demonstrate leadership ability, good judgment, and self-motivation.
