Role Overview
The Digital Account Supervisor provides strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of integrated digital programs across social media, influencer marketing, content development, and paid digital. This role serves as a senior client partner and internal team leader – responsible for shaping digital strategy, guiding execution, and ensuring digital work meaningfully supports broader brand and communications objectives. This position is ideal for a confident, experienced digital marketer who can lead accounts independently, mentor teams, and deliver consistently high-quality, insight-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Strategy & Planning
• Lead the development of integrated digital strategies across social, content, influencer, and paid channels.
• Shape digital narratives and campaign frameworks aligned with brand positioning and communications goals.
• Identify platform, audience, and cultural insights to inform recommendations and elevate client programs.
• Stay ahead of platform changes, emerging tools, and digital trends to proactively advise clients and internal teams.
Execution Oversight & Optimization
• Oversee the execution of digital programs, ensuring quality, consistency, and strategic alignment.
• Review and approve social content calendars, influencer briefs, paid media assets, and reporting outputs.
• Guide optimization efforts across channels, using performance data to inform adjustments and recommendations.
• Oversee digital budgets, timelines, and scopes to ensure accountability and efficiency.
Client Leadership & Account Ownership
• Serve as the senior day-to-day digital lead for assigned accounts.
• Lead strategic client conversations, digital performance reviews, and planning discussions.
• Anticipate client needs, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to account expansion.
• Ensure digital deliverables are aligned with client expectations, agency standards, and broader account strategy.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Supervise and mentor Digital Account Managers and junior team members.
• Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure team success and professional development.
• Coordinate closely with PR, creative, paid media, and leadership teams to deliver fully integrated programs.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable team environment grounded in excellence and ownership.
Qualifications
• 5–7 years of digital marketing experience, preferably within an agency environment.
• Proven experience leading social media, influencer marketing, content, and paid digital programs.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
• Highly organized with experience managing multiple accounts, budgets, and teams simultaneously.
• Proficiency in digital and social tools including Sprout Social, Tagger, and Canva; experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with confidence interpreting data and performance metrics.
