Position Details

• Position: Dietary Aide
• Facility: McClure Post Acute
• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
• Schedule: Part-Time; shift availability to be discussed

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and food portioning according to established dietary guidelines.
• Prepare and deliver meal trays to residents in a timely manner.
• Assist with serving meals and maintaining an organized dining area.
• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, dining areas, and food service equipment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
• Ensure residents receive meals consistent with their prescribed diets and dietary restrictions.
• Assist the dietary team with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory.
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous dietary, food service, or kitchen experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position.
• Must meet applicable food handler and facility requirements.
