DevOps System Admin Level 1 and 2 - TS/SCI with Poly required

Test Engineer Level 1

We are seeking aTest Engineer Level 1 to support the testing and validation of mission-critical geospatial applications and Java microservices within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated and manual testing, Python, and software quality assurance.

Required Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies, test plans, and test cases
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
• Perform manual, regression, and performance testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Collaborate with developers to ensure software quality
• Create and maintain test documentation
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes

Required Qualifications

• ActiveTS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
• 2+ years of Test Engineering experience supporting programs of similar scope and complexity
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (four additional years of Test Engineer experience may be substituted for the degree)
• StrongPython programming experience for test automation, framework development, and CI/CD integration
• Ability to mentor junior Test Engineers

Desired Skills

• Experience testinggeospatial applications,Java microservices, andRESTful APIs
• Test automation withSelenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks
• Performance testing usingJMeter,Gatling, or similar tools
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis and visualization
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of testing efforts
