DevOps/ SRE Engineer

We are seeking aDevOps/SRE Engineer in Singapore. You will keep Java Spring Boot services stable and fast across hybrid cloud platforms while improving CI/CD automation and observability. If you enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, building reliable releases and partnering with engineering teams, this role gives you hands-on impact in production.

Responsibilities

• Support Java (Jakarta EE, Spring Boot) multi-tier applications and troubleshoot complex service interactions
• Analyze application logs and metrics to isolate incidents and prevent repeat issues
• Build and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Deploy applications on Cloud Foundry (PCF) and Red Hat OpenShift including container-based workloads
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation to standardize environments
• Operate monitoring, logging and alerting using Elastic Stack (ELK), Grafana and Prometheus
• Coordinate release and change management including scheduling deployments and documenting changes
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams across local and remote locations

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting production Java platforms in hybrid cloud environments
• Hands-on expertise with Linux and troubleshooting in distributed systems
• Practical knowledge of containers and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and release automation using Jenkins, Circle CI, or GitHub Actions
• Scripting capability in Shell, Python, or PowerShell to automate operational tasks
• Observability background using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, or AppDynamics
• Cloud exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
• Solid understanding of Git workflows including branching and deployment practices

Nice to have

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift administration and platform troubleshooting
• Familiarity with batch processing tools and scheduling platforms
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and security best practices in production environments
