Devops GCP/Python

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar tools.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Configure logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to streamline software delivery.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Perform system upgrades, patching, and environment maintenance.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency inPython scripting and automation.
• Experience withDocker andKubernetes.
• Expertise inCI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build.
• Experience withTerraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Strong knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Cloud Monitoring.
• Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Ansible or configuration management tools.
• Experience with cloud security and IAM.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container orchestration.
