Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilledDevOps Engineer with strong SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) experience to support cloud-native application development, CI/CD automation, and platform operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing DevOps pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and SAP BTP services.Exposure to AI/ML tools or intelligent automation is a strong plus.
This role will work closely with development, architecture, security, and business teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintainCI/CD pipelines for cloud-native and SAP BTP-based applications
- Manage and supportSAP BTP environments (Cloud Foundry / Kyma Runtime)
- Automate build, deployment, monitoring, and release processes
- Work with development teams to containerize applications usingDocker and manage orchestration withKubernetes
- ImplementInfrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or similar
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using logging and monitoring tools
- Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of platforms
- Collaborate with security teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
- Support production releases, incident management, and root cause analysis
- Document DevOps processes, standards, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience withSAP BTP
- Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma Runtime
- BTP services (Destinations, Connectivity, XSUAA, Integration Suite – nice to have)
- Expertise inCI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Strong experience withcloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency withDocker and Kubernetes
- Experience withLinux/Unix environments
- Scripting experience inShell, Python, or Groovy
- Strong understanding ofnetworking, security, and authentication concepts
Nice to Have / Plus Skills
- AI / ML exposure
- AIOps, intelligent monitoring, or automation
- Experience integrating AI services or models into pipelines
- Experience withSAP AI Core / AI Launchpad
- Knowledge ofMLOps concepts
- Experience withmicroservices architecture
- Prior experience supportingenterprise-scale SAP landscapes
